Important Update to Our Return Policy: We have streamlined our return window from 180 days to 30 days. This change allows us to process recent orders more quickly and maintain our highest quality standards. The new 30-day policy applies to all orders placed after 10/05/2025.
1. 30-Day Return Guarantee
You have up to 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and in original condition.
- With tags and original packaging.
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Ineligible for Return
- Items returned after 30 days of delivery.
- Used, washed, or damaged items (not due to our error).
- Final sale, clearance, or promotional items.
- Gift cards.
3. How to Request a Return
- Email us at support@dayonetee.com.
- Include: your full name, order number, proof of purchase, and reason for return.
- For defective or damaged items, please attach photos/videos.
- Wait for confirmation – we’ll send you detailed return instructions and the return address.
⚠️ Unauthorized returns without approval will not be accepted.
4. Return Shipping Fee
Your responsibility for return shipping costs depends entirely on the reason for the return:
- Our Error (Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Item)
If the return is due to our error, you will not incur any cost:
- Return Shipping: We will provide a free, pre-paid return shipping label.
- Original Shipping Fee (OSF) Refund: The Original Shipping Fee paid with your order will be fully refunded. This OSF refund will be processed only if you choose a refund over an exchange, or if the requested replacement item is out of stock and a refund is necessary.
- Customer Reasons (Wrong Size, Change of Mind)
If the return is for other reasons (e.g., wrong size ordered, change of mind):
- Return Shipping: For your convenience, we can provide a return shipping label. The cost of this label will be deducted from your refund amount. Alternatively, you may choose to arrange and pay for your own return shipping.
- Original Shipping Fee (OSF) Refund: The Original Shipping Fee paid with your order is non-refundable and will not be credited back to you.
5. Exchanges
We handle exchanges based on the reason for the request:
- Our Error (Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Item)
We offer direct exchanges only for items that are defective, damaged, or incorrect (including wrong size or design sent by mistake).
- If the replacement item is available, we’ll ship it once your return is received and inspected.
- If the item is not available, we’ll process a full refund to your original payment method instead.
- Customer Error (Wrong Size Ordered, Change of Mind)
If you wish to exchange an item due to customer error (e.g., ordering the wrong size or change of mind), we do not offer a direct exchange. Instead, please follow this two-step process:
- Return: Initiate a return for a refund (as per our refunds section below).
- Reorder: Place a new order for the desired size or design separately.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you via email of approval or rejection.
Refund Calculation and Timing
The final amount refunded depends on the reason for your return:
- If the Error is Ours (Defective/Incorrect Item): You will receive a 100% refund, including the Original Shipping Fee paid with your order.
- If the Return is for Other Reasons (e.g., Change of Mind, Wrong Size): Your refund will be for the item value only. The Original Shipping Fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days.
- Please note that it may take an additional 3–5 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the credit to your account.
7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase for a full refund.
After this window, cancellation may not be possible if the order has entered production.
Approved cancellations will be refunded within 7 business days.
